Large free car park for patrons, locking cycle racks and soon a dedicated wash down area. Hardwood floors mean cyclists don’t need to remove cycling shoes. Horse Riders
The ElmTree is the ideal spot to park up your lorry or trailer and head off for a hack in the New Forest. Free parking for patrons.
Easy access from A31 (no tiny lanes), plenty of turning space. Ask Debs (one of the owners via 07767 784295) and she will provide water and a very experienced hand if required. Midweek is easiest as the carpark is quieter but contact us with your plans and we will do our best to accommodate you.
A gentle road hill from the pub provides a nice warm up on to the forest, with the option of a track to come down back to the pub for those without road nails. Maps can be provided. We will be providing tether points but currently on trailer and lorry is the only option.
Dog Walkers
The ElmTree is super dog friendly, wet, slobbery, muddy no problem come on in. Doggy treats on the bar - a doggy toy box and beer barrel full of water with bowls outside all year round. Soon there will be washdown area for paws and people! Situated just a mile from New Forest trails, The ElmTree is a convenient spot for a pre-walk meet-up, a mid-walk pause, or post-walk refreshments. For patrons and pups a huge free car park makes the perfect start and stop spot. So explore the New Forest and afterwards relax in a cosy environment, enjoy refreshing drinks and made-to-order homemade food.
