The Riz-Quiz

Hosted by landlord Paul Risbridger ‘Riz-Quiz’ runs the fourth Wednesday of every month at about 8.00pm. Expect a light-hearted quiz night with an emphasis on fun. Teams of six with complimentary chips for the table. No need to book but it gets busy so get there early!

Karaoke Party

Look out for Karaoke Party at The ElmTree once a month on a Saturday. All abilities welcome – it’s about fun – professional singers are warmly welcomed too.

Meet the 'Lickle Linda's' darling ducklings that lost their mum, found wandering in the pub yard early on Sunday morning! Every attempt was made to locate and reintroduce to parents but after six hours of watching, waiting and trying not to interfere, our lovely friends at Wildlife Rescue - Moyles Court said warmth and food were needed - they are inundated with ducklings at this time of year, so given we have some experience with waterfowl, and with their support we are raising them until they are ready to be released. So here we are day three .. 11 babies thriving in a box, under a newly purchased heat lamp. Loving life and having just had their first watery dabble, drying off! We'll keep you updated!😍 Thank you to Linda Morrison - their namesake!!!!!

"Excellent food and lovely staff! The Nachos were absolutely loaded with cheese Which is unusual - normally get a layer on top and that’s all, but not these! Layers throughout! So filling! Had cider and when a fresh glass had just come out of the dishwasher, they filled it with ice to cool it down!! Don’t get that very often. Suzi and Chloe were very friendly and chatty, and on a hot and busy afternoon we were very impressed."
